How to commission a portrait
Are you looking for an original and personalized gift idea for a birthday, a wedding, a graduation party, Christmas, Valentine's Day? Or did you find the black and white photo of your grandmother hidden in a drawer and want to give it back color? Give a commissioned portrait, it's a perfect idea for all occasions! First of all, to commission a portrait you will need to provide me with the following information:
- the type of work (portrait, painting or still life);
- the number of Subjects to paint;
- one or more photographs of the subject of the painting. The images can be in any format in high definition. If you want to commission a portrait with several subjects and you do not have a single photograph in which there are them together, you can send me the photos of each one and I will combine them into a single portrait;
- the size of the painting (otherwise I will guide you in the choice);
- The technique you have chosen (on request I can help you in the choice);
- a small description of the character of the subject (s) to paint (optional);
Pay attention please! If you need the portrait to be delivered urgently or by a certain specific date, please specify this in your email.
If you still don't have clear ideas, you can contact me anyway and I will guide you in choosing the information shown above. So, take a look at what happens:
IMPORTANT:
Each portrait / painting will be delivered accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity of "Unique Exemplary" and signed by the artist Viviana Gernone which gives added value even in the case of a gift or a homage;
All your data and photos that you will send me for the realization of the portrait will not be transferred to third parties and will be protected under the law 675/96,;
The frame is not included in the cost of the portrait that will be communicated to you, it being advisable to match the frame to the environment for which it is intended.
IF YOU WISH THE WORK TO BE STRICTLY PRIVATE and therefore do not consent to the publication on the website, social pages, brochures, flyers or other promotional material of the artist or related to him, a 50% surcharge applies.
