Viviana Gernone is an Italian artist. She was born in 12 june 1984 in Italy, in Bari, the capital city of Puglia.
She have two younger systers: Simona, she’s a drummer, and Federica, she’s studying ballet dancing. Viviana’s grandfather, mother and father were a self-educated painters. Viviana inherited their art passion.
Her artistic career start in 2003 when she works in art childhood laboratories as assistant-scenographer and later, as art teacher at the Russian Church in Bari (Italy).
In March 2011 Viviana gets with full marks ( 110 cum laude ) the Degree in "Visual Arts and Performing Arts" at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari. The several years of artistic studies she conducted, combined with her creativity and passion have allowed her to refine her aesthetic sensibility not only in the Fine Arts sector but also in the fashion one. In fact, many define her as a " Polyhedral Artist ".

winner of the 1st PRIZE of the IV edition of the art competition "Beauty and magic of art" by Damiano Putignano and Anna Maria Campa, Marina di Ginosa, year 2007;
winner of the 1st prize in the “Mongolfiera” competition of nativity scenes in Bari, 4th edition, 2008;

4th place in the competition for young artists “To have or to be”, in Bari, year 2010;
winner of the selections for the contemporary art exhibition "Enucleare" by the cultural association Agorà Mediterranea from 28 June to 5 July 2011 exhibits her winning painting "Radio-poleis" at the Sala Murat in Piazza del Ferrarese, in Bari, one of his works oil on canvas;
Admitted to exhibit at the "I biennial of creativity" at Palaexpo in Verona, she inaugurates the exhibition Vittorio Sgarbi , guests of honor at the award ceremony Katia Ricciarelli and Red Ronnie, year 2014;
winner of the 2nd prize at the Giovanni Muciaccia Art Contest (host of Disney's "Art Attack " column for Italy, now co-host of "SerenoVariabile" with Osvaldo Bevilacqua) with her drawing entitled "L'urlo di MuNc ... iaccia ", year 2017;
winner of the 1st prize at the X "Globalart" art competition organized by Dr. Rosa Didonna, the illustrious journalist Vinicio Coppola, Carlo Roberto Sciascia (art critic) and the ND Baroness Elisa Silvatici intervene at the awards ceremony. which reviews the qualities in a commendable critique artistic by Viviana Gernone, year 2017;
The Artist Viviana Gernone, personally invited by the kind Prof. Cettina Fazio Bonina (President of the cultural association "Porta d'Oriente") to attend, at the Circolo Unione (Petruzzelli Theater), at the prestigious award ceremony of the IX edition of the “Nicola Saponaro” literary competition; on that occasion the painting "vite d'AMare" by Viviana Gernone becomes part of the private collection of the Insigne Prof. Vittorio Sgarbi, year 2019;

of the window of “Saddler & Marelli” - Bari
Not just traditional art exhibitions. Gernone has performed several times in “live painting exhibitions” during which her painting takes shape, stroke after stroke, before the eyes of the public. Here they are listed below:
"The tree of life woman", 2011 ( Gernone paints an oil on canvas work in the window of the clothing atelier "SADDLER & MARELLI" which, once finished, is sold at an auction of charity, the proceeds of which will be used for donation
of trees to the city of Bari). The organizer of the event is the renowned " Lions Club " of Bari;
“Xmas tour (Gernone paints three acrylic paintings on canvas during each of the three concert stages of the same name organized by the cultural association“ the places of music ”, at three different Apulian churches). At the same time, inside the parish aisles, a personal exhibition of paintings by the artist Viviana Gernone is set up;
"Murat e Bari", year 2013 (Gernone repeats the experience of painting in a shop window, this time in the window of the famous " Benetton " store in the most prestigious historical building in Bari " Palazzo Mincuzzi ", in via Sparano. The organizer of the event is once again the "Lions Club" of Bari;
in 2019 Gernone realizes a live painting during the event - recital "A dip in romanticism ... from Chopin to Leopardi" narrated by the writer Michele Vittorio Del Vecchio with the musical accompaniment of the pianist Anna Elisa Lacetera, presentation by authoritative Professor Cettina Fazio Bonina . The event takes place at the prestigious Barion Rowing Club in Bari.
On 06/03/2019 Viviana Gernone is guest in the radio studios of Radio "Canale 100" for an interview broadcast on Facebook in live streaming starting at 10.30 during which the artist talks about his artistic excursus and to promote the his Youtube channel. Several times a teacher of painting techniques at the artistic workshops organized by the Resurrection Church, in Bari, Gernone is also the set designer for Giovanna Bartolo's comedy, entitled "This is not a convent" and In the 2011 for musical comedy by Luigi Rizzi (president of the “Settantacento” Cultural Association) entitled "Hotel Mimosa: a simple love story" staged from 18 May 2014 at the Norba Theater in Conversano (Bari) .
Currently Viviana Gernone makes artistic videos for the “Youtube channel” she owns, obtaining excellent results: in the image below, one of Viviana Gernone's videos tweeted by the official fan club of the Spanish actor “Iago Garcìa”.
